Back to School Teacher Gift

School is about to start here. Ugh! Not that I don’t want my kids to go to school. That’s the great part. But that also means I have to go back to work. I’m not quite ready for that part. (Big sigh!)

I wanted to do something for my kid’s teachers but I really didn’t want to spend a lot of money. I have been stressing a little bit over this but then I found this fantastic idea and knew this was what we were going to do.

Every teacher needs pens. (I work in a middle school. I know this very important fact.) Cool pens are a giant bonus. I thought these were pretty cool. Best part – they were on sale at Fred Meyer for $2.69 and then there was a buy one get one free coupon. But it gets even better! I had a coupon for $2 off any school supply purchase. So I paid 69 cents for both packages! Yipee!

Then I went over to Itsy Bitsy Paper and printed out these very cool (and free) tags that Lindy provided and backed them with some colored cardstock. And viola!

The perfect little teacher gift for the first day of school.

  9. Thank you for these! I picked up some cheap highlighters this summer for this exact purpose and can now wrap them up with these tags – thanks!

  10. I make Crayon wreaths for teachers. These also seem to be very popular for back to school and christmas gifts.
